Volunteer Opportunity: Support an Elderly Client

Are you a caring individual looking to make a meaningful difference in the life of an older person?

HammondCare is seeking a volunteer to visit our elderly client in the beautiful South Coast suburb of Albion Park Rail.

The client enjoys words, spelling, and quizzes, and would love to meet someone to visit her at home for a cuppa and a chat.

As a social visitor, you will have the opportunity to bring joy to the client's life, reduce feelings of isolation, and enhance their quality of life.

Requirements:

  • 18 years or older
  • National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for by HammondCare

We'd be happy to discuss a suitable time during the week for a one-hour visit between 9am and 4pm Monday to Sunday. Visits could be weekly to fortnightly depending on your availability.

By volunteering as a social visitor, you will not only be making a positive impact on the client's life but also gain valuable experience and skills.
