Volunteer Opportunity

Make a meaningful difference in the life of an older person by becoming a social visitor.

Spend time with an elderly client living at home, enjoying weekly or fortnightly chats over a cuppa. You may also explore their garden or play games together.

  • Visit clients for 30 minutes to one hour between 9 am and 4 pm, Monday to Sunday.
  • Visits can be weekly or fortnightly depending on your availability.
Your Impact

Regular visits from volunteers can improve quality of life and reduce feelings of isolation. By volunteering as a social visitor, you will positively impact an older person's life.

Requirements

To participate, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old.
  • Have a National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for.
