Senior Security Leadership Role

This is a critical position that requires an experienced and skilled security professional to oversee the bank's security framework. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of banking regulations and risk management principles, as well as hands-on experience in information security, auditing, and compliance.

About the Role

This role will involve conducting regular internal audits and control testing to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards. You will also be responsible for evaluating the effectiveness of security controls and processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing necessary changes. Additionally, you will collaborate with IT, legal, and other departments to enhance security awareness and foster a culture of compliance within the organization.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough internal audits and control testing to identify vulnerabilities and non-compliance issues
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of security controls and processes against established regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement security policies, procedures, and standards
  • Provide expert guidance and support to employees on security best practices and procedures
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills. You should have a solid understanding of regulatory frameworks such as CPS234, NIST, ISO 27001, and SOC 2, as well as hands-on experience with security tools and technologies. A proven track record of driving security initiatives and improving compliance outcomes is essential.
