Roster Coordinator Role

As a Roster Coordinator, you play a pivotal role in ensuring the residence is appropriately staffed at all times to deliver quality care to residents while maintaining a positive work environment.

You will be responsible for:

  • Staff Scheduling: Developing and maintaining staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage for all shifts and to meet the care requirements of residents.
  • Managing Shift Changes: Handling requests for shift changes, leave, or time off and finding suitable replacements when necessary to maintain staffing levels.
  • Communication: Maintaining effective communication with staff members to inform them of their schedules, shift changes and any updates or important information related to their work.
  • Coordination with Management: Collaborating with the facility's management team to align staffing needs with optimal workforce management.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Ability to manage rostering and team member allocations.
  • Experience using employee scheduling software such as Humanforce or Time Target.
  • Adaptable, passionate and willingness to learn.
  • Collaborative and skilled at teamwork.
  • Friendly and effective communication abilities.
