Job Overview:

The position involves leading the technical management of a complex capability, encompassing corporate responsibilities associated with such a strategically important role.

This entails managing day-to-day technical support to operations, including liaison with internal stakeholders and system owners. A multi-disciplinary technical team will be managed to ensure capabilities remain operationally available to support critical objectives.

As part of the Product Team within a Strategic Partnership Organisation, you will work closely with senior staff to drive continuous improvement, reform, and capability uplift within the team.

The role provides remuneration in addition to the Defence Enterprise Agreement.

About the Role:

Responsibility for acquiring, integrating, and sustaining command and control warfare systems for the Australian Defence Force is key to this role.

You will acquire and sustain joint-information warfare capabilities that are mission-critical to all three services of the Australian Defence Force.

A customer-oriented problem solver who can plan, prioritise, and communicate effectively is required. With multiple stakeholders to satisfy under operational demands, you must ensure team efforts meet customer needs and keep them informed.

Working within a strict compliance framework, you are expected to maintain accurate records and set standards for others to follow.

Collaboration and sharing knowledge are essential skills as part of the larger ADF COMSEC enterprise.
