Data Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Architect to design and implement cutting-edge data solutions in Azure. This individual will work closely with technical teams to develop efficient, high-quality data pipelines.
Key Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data architectures using Databricks and Spark SQL.
- Create and optimize complex SQL queries for large-scale data transformation and performance.
- Extract and load data from source systems into Azure-based data warehouses and downstream platforms.
- Collaborate with data and integration teams to align data flows and resolve issues.
- Evaluate and improve data pipeline reliability, efficiency, and documentation.
- Support testing, troubleshooting, and performance tuning activities.
- Proven experience as a Data Architect or similar role in a cloud environment.
- Strong expertise in Databricks and Spark SQL, including joins and query optimization.
- Familiarity with ETL development and pipeline orchestration (Azure Data Factory desirable).
- Solid SQL skills and ability to work with large datasets.
- Familiarity with Azure data services (Data Lake, Synapse, D365 exposure a bonus).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
A successful candidate will have excellent communication and project management skills, along with the ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
