We are a leading mining contractor with almost 10,000 employees on projects across the globe. Our services include shaft sinking, mine development, contract mining, raiseboring, underground construction, engineering & technical services, and specialty services in the mining and construction sectors.

With our recent acquisition of RUC Mining, we now operate the largest fleet of Raisedrill & Raisebore machines in Australia. This integration has enabled us to offer an expanded range of services and enhanced capabilities to our clients.

As our business continues to grow, we are seeking talented candidates to be involved in the integration and streamlining of our operations.

About the Role
  • Drilling experience requires operating a mechanised electric/Hydraulic Jumbo drill suitable to ground conditions and in compliance with site specific drill patterns and survey instruction.
  • Assessing ground conditions at the face and implementing control according to site requirements is crucial.
  • Reading and accurately following mining instruction plans with skill and precision ensures holes are drilled to design line, gradient and profile.
  • Communication with technical services teams is essential as required.
  • Optimising drill patterns ensures maximum advance per round while maintaining strict adherence to design specifications.
  • Maintaining work areas safe for personnel and equipment performing duties, including ensuring electrical installations and services are clear of the drilling area.
Candidate Requirements
  • Prior experience working as a frontline Jumbo Operator is necessary.
  • Extensive experience working in underground mining environments.
  • All relevant qualifications, certificates and licences must be valid.
  • A current manual drivers licence is required.
  • A strong work ethic and attitude aligning with company values is expected.
The Opportunity

Rotating 2-week on/2-week off roster with day and night shifts available.

FIFO from Perth or DIDO options from Esperance, Kalgoorlie and other locations.

Camp facilities based in Norseman, with gym access, dry mess, wet mess and town-based amenities.
