The primary objective is to monitor, develop, and refine data management systems including Minestar FMS, Helix, Spotfire, Business Objects, Power BI, and Excel. This involves benchmarking, monitoring, and analyzing production processes and outcomes to pinpoint opportunities for improvement.
Key responsibilities include tracking weekly and monthly performance metrics to ensure adherence to operational plans. Collaboration with the execution team is essential to develop practical, safe, and sustainable solutions that enhance mining stability and capability.
Additionally, this role requires supporting solution implementation by facilitating change management, driving accountability for plans, and validating that projects deliver value.
- A recognized tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering, Science, Data Science, or a related field is essential.
- Strong communication, negotiation, influencing, and relationship-building skills are required.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities are necessary.
- Strong planning, prioritization, and organizational skills are expected.
- A proven track record of continuous improvement and successful project delivery is highly valued.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) is mandatory.
- Experience working in remote environments is advantageous but not essential.
- Experience with fleet management software such as Minestar, Surface Manager, or DAS is preferred.
- Familiarity with Business Objects or Power BI is considered an advantage.
