Our company is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our expanding teams. In this role, you will perform various quantity surveying functions including estimating, planning, and cost management.We are looking for an individual with strong analytical skills and the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Your primary focus will be on providing accurate and timely financial reporting, exercising sound financial acumen, and proactively maximising value for our clients.Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with clients, architects, and main contractors
  • Identify and facilitate new business opportunities
  • Prepare master-plan and feasibility budgets
  • Cost check developing designs
  • Implement value engineering
  • Evaluate bid submissions and negotiate contracts
  • Manage cash flow projects
  • Procure materials and services
  • Provide accurate and timely cost reports
  • Analyse change orders and prepare valuations
  • Presents claims and settle disputes
  • Conduct investment analysis and implement benchmarking processes
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management (minimum 4-year degree)
  • Australian Citizenship and Passport to satisfy USA visa requirements
  • RICS / AIQS accreditation is highly regarded
  • Proficient in using Cost X software
  • Strong motivation and passion for delivering excellent results
