About This Role:

This position is for a OSH Coordinator who will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) program. The OSHC is open before school from 6:30am to 8:30am and after school from 2:40pm to 6pm, Monday to Friday.

The successful candidate will have excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to engage with children, parents, and staff in a positive and respectful manner. They will also possess strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about working with children and families, and who can provide a safe and inclusive environment for all students.   • Engaging, implementing, and evaluating programs to meet the needs of children and families;
  • Managing the day-to-day operations of the service, including staffing, budgets, and compliance;
  • BUILDING ongoing positive relationships with schools, families, and employees;
  • Working on administrative tasks and efficient operation of the service;

Key Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A Diploma or Cert IV in OSHC or a related field;
  • Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a leadership role within an OSHC environment;
  • Knowledge of regulations relevant to Outside School Hours Care and the National Quality Framework - My Time Our Place;
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification;
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and build positive relationships with children, parents, and staff;
