Lead Educator Role - Early Childcare Team

The position of Lead Educator is a management opportunity within our child care centre. We seek an enthusiastic and motivated individual to contribute to the provision of quality care.

As a senior educator with children aged 3-5 years, you will be responsible for communicating with parents, programming, completing regulatory requirements and participating as an active team member in the Quality Improvement Plan (QIP).

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing a learning environment that meets the needs of the children and aligns with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
  • Collaborating with parents and other stakeholders.
  • Developing and implementing activities for children.
  • Completing regulatory requirements and QIP tasks.
  • Participating as a contributing team member and enhancing the positive culture of the centre.

To succeed in this role, you will require a minimum of a recognized Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care and at least two years of full-time experience working in a child care centre. Ideally, you will have a similar role or are seeking a leadership opportunity.

You will work within an 8-hour shift schedule, Monday to Friday, between 6:30am and 6:00pm.
