Delivering High-Quality Care to Our Residents
This is a key role in our residential aged care home where you will be providing exceptional nursing care with an individualized approach to all residents.
About the Role- Provide direct clinical nursing care to residents in line with best practice nursing procedures, always putting their needs first and ensuring they receive the highest level of care.
- Act as Team leader, providing coaching, supervision, and guidance to the personal care team, helping them to develop their skills and knowledge.
- Work in a safe manner to protect yourself, your colleagues and residents, closely following all policies and procedures to prevent any harm or injury.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A genuine passion for delivering high-quality care to the elderly and a kind heart to provide compassionate support.
- Current registration with AHPRA, having completed a Bachelor of Nursing or similar qualification, demonstrating your commitment to excellence in nursing practice.
- A thorough understanding of the Aged Care Legislation and Aged Care Quality Standards, ensuring that you are up-to-date with the latest requirements and regulations.
- Demonstrated understanding of AN-ACC assessment processes, allowing you to accurately assess the needs of our residents and deliver targeted care.
- Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of the aging process, particularly age-related health issues, enabling you to provide expert care and support.
- Strong coaching/training skills, able to help others develop their skills and knowledge.
- Effective conflict resolution skills with a high level of emotional intelligence, allowing you to manage difficult situations and maintain positive relationships.
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude, essential for working effectively with our residents, families, and colleagues.
- Willingness to apply for a Police Check and NDIS clearance, demonstrating your commitment to providing a safe and secure environment for our residents.
