About the Role
  • Provide high-quality clinical care to residents in our residential aged care facility, utilising your skills and experience to make a positive impact.
  • Act as Team Leader, guiding and mentoring the personal care team to ensure excellent standards of care are maintained.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide safe and effective care, adhering to best practice nursing procedures and policies.
Your Responsibilities
  • Deliver direct clinical nursing care to residents, tailoring your approach to meet individual needs and preferences.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify resident requirements, working closely with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to quality improvement initiatives, ensuring continuous learning and growth within the organisation.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification, with current registration.
  • Sound understanding of aged care legislation and quality standards, as well as assessment processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with older adults, their families, and carers, promoting dignity, respect, and person-centred care.
  • Strong coaching and training skills, with a focus on building capacity and confidence within the team.
