This is a role that involves working on networking software defined offerings such as Software Load Balancer, Virtual Networks, Network Security Groups and other services. As a Software Engineer in Software Defined Networking, you will work on visible projects shaping the future of our networking software services.
">Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with stakeholders to determine user requirements for features.
- Identify dependencies and develop design documents for a product area.
- Implement code for products, services or features reusing code where applicable.
- Break down larger work items into smaller tasks and provide estimates.
- Serve as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) on-call to monitor system/product features for degradation and coordinate restoration.
- Stay current in skills to improve availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, and performance of products.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years of technical engineering experience with coding in C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python. OR equivalent experience.
- Reliable high quality software development.
- Experience with large-scale orchestration frameworks.
- Extensive backend application development.
- Ability to meet Microsoft security screening requirements.
