Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Histopathology Training Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering a comprehensive training program that ensures the highest standards of quality and compliance in our Histopathology Service.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience in Histopathology/Cellular Pathology NHS laboratory settings and a proven track record of training staff. They will also possess excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff at all levels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver a UKAS compliant training program for Histopathology staff.
  • Organize and facilitate training sessions, workshops, and other learning events.
  • Maintain accurate records of staff training and development.
  • Ensure that training materials and resources are up-to-date and relevant.
  • Collaborate with service leads and other stakeholders to identify training needs and develop solutions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Science or a related field.
  • HCPC registration as a Biomedical Scientist.
  • Significant experience in Histopathology/Cellular Pathology NHS laboratory settings.
  • Proven track record of training staff.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
