This role requires a highly skilled professional to lead the engineering support for a fleet of patrol boats. The successful candidate will oversee all technical aspects, ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks and maintaining design integrity.
- Develop and manage a team of engineers while planning and documenting delivery of engineering services.
- Ongoing certification and configuration management of the fleet is essential, including baseline changes and temporary modifications.
- Provide timely advice and instructions to support operational requirements.
- Lead investigations to resolve issues efficiently and maintain fleet performance.
- A degree in Engineering with potential to achieve Chartered status.
- Minimum 5 years' leadership experience in sustainment engineering, preferably in Defence.
- Eligible for security clearance.
- Technical risk management, problem solving, leadership, and effective communication skills are required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and standard engineering software.
- Engineering Change management experience.
- Technical risk management expertise.
- Enterprise Business management program experience.
- Previous Leadership experience.
