About the Role
This fixed-term full-time position offers an opportunity to work with a dynamic team, providing a safe and supportive environment for our boarding students. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the physical and emotional well-being of our students, while promoting their academic progress and personal development. As a key member of our Boarding House team, you will contribute to creating a positive and inclusive community that fosters growth, respect, and responsibility.

Responsibilities
As a Residential Caregiver, your responsibilities will include:
• Ensuring the safety and well-being of students during mealtimes, meetings, and events
• Providing guidance and support to students in their academic and personal pursuits
• Maintaining accurate records of student attendance, conduct, and progress
• Collaborating with the Head of Boarding and other staff members to ensure the smooth operation of the Boarding House
• Participating in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
• Experience working with teenagers in a residential or similar setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, parents, and staff
• A strong work ethic, with flexibility to work varied shifts across 7 days per week during term time
• Level 2 First Aid Certification, Anaphylaxis Certification, and CPR
• Current Employment Working with Children Check or VIT Registration
• Post-Secondary Education Qualification (desired)

Salary and Benefits
The estimated annual salary for this role is $65,000 - $85,000, depending on experience and qualifications. You will also receive a generous superannuation package, as well as access to ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
