Job Description:

The role of Scheduler - Planner is pivotal in ensuring the timely and accurate flow of orders through the factory, supporting our commitment to delivering on-time, in-full, and to-spec. This involves developing and maintaining detailed production schedules to meet customer deadlines and driving efficiency, quality, and exceptional service.

  • Develop and maintain detailed production schedules to meet customer deadlines and DIFOT expectations.
  • Monitor daily scheduling, resolving conflicts or delays through proactive communication and problem-solving.
  • Allocate jobs to suitable press technologies based on label specifications, materials, and production efficiency.
  • Liaise with Production Managers to align schedules with operational capacity, labor availability, and performance targets.
  • Engage in planning and customer support functions as required.
  • Communicate accurate lead times and delivery schedules, adjusting plans to accommodate changes or constraints.
  • Identify delivery risks early and collaborate with Services to implement proactive solutions.
  • Support continuous improvement by participating in process reviews and recommending efficiency enhancements.

Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a scheduler - planner or similar role preferably in the print manufacturing industry
  • Proficient in relevant software including MS Office Suite.
  • Experience in planning scheduling software
  • High level of maturity and credibility to influence others and build/maintain strong internal and external relationships.
  • Keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities with a proactive approach.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills & strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Eligible Australian working rights.
