Handyman/Woman Job Description

Just Maintenance Services is seeking an experienced Handyman to carry out fix-out and maintenance tasks in commercial/industrial sites.

Maintenance includes, but is not limited to: repairing doors, hardware, manufacture of small joinery items, repairs to joinery items, partitioning, and ceilings.

The position of Handyman is a full-time wages role, including travel and fares per ordinary day, Public Holidays, RDOs, tool allowance, paid weekly, accrual of ARL & PCL regardless of work circumstances.

Effective hourly rate for the permanent position is approximately $31.70, but a casual alternative is available at approximately $38.50. The casual rate is in lieu of permanent entitlements.

Work Hours

A standard working day is between 7.00 am to 3:10 pm, overtime is available. One 20 minute smoko & one 30 minute lunch break, 19 day month in line with JMS policy if you elect for RDOs.

Required Skills and Qualifications

You will need to provide your own Tools of trade, a Queensland General OH&S induction card & a Queensland driver's license.

Additionally, you will need to provide blue shorts or trousers, blue socks & safety boots or equivalent.
