Northline is in search of a skilled Supervisor to lead our Afternoon Shift Operations in Bundamba. In this pivotal role, you will manage daily operations during the afternoon shift, ensuring that all tasks are executed with efficiency, safety, and precision. Collaborating closely with the Afternoon Shift Operations Manager, you will drive team performance and foster development to uphold Northline's commitment to Customer Delight.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Loading & Distribution: Guarantee that all outgoing units and trailers are loaded to maximum capacity and that freight is distributed accurately and promptly.
  • Team Leadership: Oversee PM Forklift Operators and Receiving Officers, ensuring safe equipment operation, prioritization, scanning accuracy, and minimal freight damage.
  • Operational Support: Provide assistance in making decisions regarding loading, rail versus road transport, and equipment requirements.
  • Issue Reporting: Address concerns related to revenue, load, costs, and service.
  • Safety & Compliance: Enforce safe loading practices and ensure adherence to legislative standards.
  • Performance Management: Support the PM Operations Manager in addressing performance issues, as well as training and onboarding new team members.
