About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Education Account Manager to join our team at JB Hi-Fi Limited. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and driving new business opportunities, building long-term partnerships, and providing clients with innovative solutions tailored to their education business needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a clear strategy for new school acquisition and retention of key accounts in the education sector.
  • Engage in business development activities to win new clients in the education sector, including K-12 schools, universities, and higher education institutions.
  • Understand client objectives, buying criteria, and decision-making processes to form long-term business partnerships.
  • Manage the sales process from start to finish, including pipeline management and ensuring all sales enquiries are followed through.
  • Identify and grow opportunities within your state/territory and collaborate with the sales team to ensure maximum growth.
  • Liaise with internal staff for support, reporting, and resourcing of projects as required.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience working in the education sector, either as an educator or in a sales role, or experience in selling IT solutions, STEM/STEAM, and audio visual products.
  • Experience in adopting a solutions sales approach and using social media platforms, particularly LinkedIn.
  • Experience with Salesforce and Microsoft Office.
  • A current driver's license.
