Empowering Individuals with Disabilities: A Mission Driven Role

Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Management: Oversee the recruitment, appraisal, management, education, and monitoring of support workers to ensure exceptional client care.
  • Scheduling and Allocation: Effectively manage scheduling and allocation of support workers to meet client needs efficiently.
  • Performance Monitoring: Ensure all key performance indicators are met in accordance with organizational directives and regulatory requirements.
  • Business Growth: Collaborate with business development teams to drive sales growth and exceed targets.
  • Client Relationships: Foster strong relationships with participants, Support Coordinators, Plan Managers, and Allied Health Professionals.
  • Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate records and develop a comprehensive records management system.
  • Audit and Compliance: Conduct internal audits and report findings as part of organizational audit processes.
  • Brand Representation: Represent the organization, building brand awareness and networking across the disability and community care sector.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Relevant degree or associate diploma with relevant experience; lesser formal qualifications with substantial years of experience.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in team leadership or support management within the NDIS sector.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of the NDIS, organizational policies, programs, and activities.
  • Expertise: Ability to provide specialist advice in their relevant discipline and supervise various functions within a complex work area.
  • Time Management: Skills in managing time, setting priorities, planning, and organizing own work and that of lower classified staff and/or volunteers.
