Job Title: Ag Operations Manager

Tactical AG has an exciting opportunity for a professional to lead the operational and sales functions of our agricultural rental and procurement business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage product management, procurement, sales operations and administration for a high-performing agricultural rental unit.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with seasonal demand and operational goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, vendors and customers.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels, delivery schedules and order processing to ensure uninterrupted supply.
  • Analyse market trends and competitor activity to support product selection and pricing decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and environmental standards.

About You:

  • Tertiary qualification in Agribusiness, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in agricultural procurement or sales operations, ideally within large-scale farming.
  • Strong knowledge of agricultural inputs, market dynamics, and farming practices.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and procurement platforms.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams, with a willingness to travel to suppliers and customers.
