Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our Education and Care portfolio as a Playgroup Assistant. This permanent part-time position involves supporting the Playgroup Facilitator in implementing a program at each of the playgroups across Canberra.
- Assist in facilitating playgroups across ACT and Capital Regions - includes set-up and pack-up of groups in the community
- Maintaining resources and resource storage, ensuring hygiene and safety standards
- Record-keeping and administration of group attendances and other relevant information in the relevant computer-based management system and hard files
- Working in partnership with the team of Family Education Practitioners and other Families team members to provide holistic support to families
- Collating attendance records to provide data to Program Manager for reporting purposes as required

Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will require:
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education qualification
- First Aid certificate
- Current Driver's Licence and access to a roadworthy, registered, and comprehensively insured vehicle for work purposes

- Experience in delivering programs to a diverse demographic, including children, families, and seniors
