About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Project Officer. As a key member of our Project Delivery team, you will play a critical role in the development and implementation of infrastructure projects that enable Australian Parliament House to function as a safe and accessible building.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to establish client needs, objectives, and requirements to formulate the scope of allocated projects.
  • Assist in the operational delivery of projects, including research and analysis of relevant activities for project milestones, as well as the day-to-day delivery of site works.
  • Coordinate project service providers, including contractors and consultants to ensure project briefs and outcomes are effectively developed, managed, and delivered.
  • Be the point of contact for general and stakeholder enquiries regarding the allocated projects.
  • Assist in ensuring the project governance requirements are met and filed in accordance with the established framework within Content Manager.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Proven ability to communicate effectively in Project Management and/or other relevant areas.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and colleagues.
  • Proven ability to undertake work with a high level of complexity and sensitivity.
  • High level analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of and compliance with Commonwealth guidelines and legislative frameworks.
