Early Childhood Education Leader

We seek a highly skilled and dedicated educator to lead our preschool team. As an Early Childhood Education Leader, you will be responsible for providing high-quality education and care to children aged 0-6 years old.

The ideal candidate will have experience in leading a room, strong relationships with families, and excellent communication skills. You will be confident in sharing information on a daily basis and understand the importance of collaborative relationships with children.

About the Position:

This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday on rotating shifts between 8am and 6pm. As a Room Leader, you will be skilled in building strong relationships with families, be confident in sharing information on a daily basis, and have well-rounded communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the preschool team in providing high-quality education and care to children aged 0-6 years old
  • BUILD STRONG RELATIONSHIPS WITH FAMILIES AND COMMUNICATE EFFECTIVELY WITH THEM ON A DAILY BASIS
  • UNDERSTAND THE IMPORTANCE OF COLLABORATIVE RELATIONSHIPS WITH CHILDREN AND WORK RESPECTFULLY AS A TEAM MEMBER
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of children's learning and development
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Children's Services
  • Experience in leading a room
  • Approved first aid qualification; anaphylaxis and emergency asthma management certificates
  • Working with Children Check clearance
  • Child Protection Qualification
  • A flexible, mature, and friendly team player who is a confident communicator verbal and written
