We are seeking an experienced and passionate educator to join our team as a Lead Educator and Team Leader. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is committed to providing excellence in both education and care.
A key aspect of this role is the ability to facilitate contributions to individual child assessment documentation and curriculum planning. You will also be responsible for ensuring the health and safety needs of all children are supported, as well as maintaining environments that foster curiosity and encourage exploration and engagement.
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate professional standards at all times, ensuring positive and respectful relationships with children, families, fellow team members, and the wider community. You will also be required to lead reflective practice and curriculum considerations regarding inclusion and equity within your room and the service.
The ideal candidate will have a completed Diploma in Child Services or above, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will also have a strong understanding of contemporary child-safe practices and sound knowledge of the mandatory reporter requirements and child-safe standards.
You will be responsible for contributing to program reflections and program developments as part of the team environment. If you're keen to inspire and enhance the holistic development of each child, build strong relationships with families, and you're also a passionate educator, then we would love to hear from you.
Job Requirements
- A completed Diploma in Child Services or above
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A strong understanding of contemporary child-safe practices and sound knowledge of the mandatory reporter requirements and child-safe standards
