Service Director of Mental Health and Disability

This exciting opportunity has become available due to internal progression within our client's organisation.
As the Service Director of Mental Health and Disability, you will report directly to the Chief Operations Officer and be responsible for the operational management of the organisation's mental health and disability services.
You will work from our head office located just 10 minutes south of Perth's CBD and from home.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Financial management, including budgeting and financial reporting
- Service development and contract management
- Customer service and risk management
- Providing management, coaching, mentoring, and support to foster a team culture of continuous improvement and innovation
- Supporting quality improvement initiatives to improve customer outcomes and achieve accreditation with the National Mental Health Standards
- Being involved in strategic direction and driving innovation by helping to identify new opportunities for service delivery

About YouTo be successful in this role, you will have a proven track record in a Service Manager or Operations Manager role in the mental health or disability sector.
You will have a deep understanding of recovery-oriented and person-centred practices.
Strong management skills, including the ability to mentor and develop staff and lead through change, are essential.
You will also have good commercial acumen, with a proven track record of managing budgets and achieving service compliance.
Additionally, you will be resilient, confident, compassionate, and able to develop productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
