The successful candidate will have operational responsibility for the organisation's mental health and disability services, reporting directly to the COO. This is a fantastic opportunity to drive service innovation, focusing on quality and client outcomes, while working from the head office in Perth's CBD or from home.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and shape the future of community mental health and disability services
  • Drive service innovation with a strong focus on quality and client outcomes
  • Report into the COO and have operational responsibility of the organisation's mental health and disability services
  • Work from their head office 10 minutes South of Perth's CBD and from home
  • Focus on financial management, service development, contract management, customer service and risk management
  • Provide management, coaching, mentoring, and support, fostering a team culture of continuous improvement and innovation
  • Support quality improvement initiatives to improve customer outcomes and achieve accreditation with the National Mental Health Standards
  • Be involved in strategic direction and driving innovation by helping to identify new opportunities for service delivery

About You:

  • Proven experience in a Service Manager or Operations Manager role in the mental health or disability sector
  • Deep understanding of recovery-oriented and person-centred practices
  • Strong management skills; able to mentor and develop staff and lead through change
  • Good commercial acumen with a proven track record managing budgets and achieving service compliance
  • Resilient, confident, compassionate and able to develop productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
