Senior Technician Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Technician to lead our team of mechanics and apprentices at Cq Tyres and Mechanical in Emerald, Central QLD.

As a Senior Technician, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of light vehicles, including general servicing, minor and major repairs, and diagnostics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of mechanics and apprentices
  • Assist the office team with quote times, part interpretation, and customer queries
  • Perform all aspects of a Light Vehicle Mechanic, including general servicing, minor and major repairs, and diagnostics

Requirements:

  • Qualified Light Vehicle mechanic with excellent leadership qualities
  • Strong vehicle diagnostic skills and ability to work unsupervised
  • Manual unrestricted Driver's license and ability to perform under pressure
  • Considerable experience in the mechanical field and a strong work ethic

Package:

This is a full-time position, Monday – Friday, 7:30am to 5:00pm, with a competitive hourly rate of $45 - $55 depending on experience. Relocation assistance is available.
