Lead Technician Opportunity at Cq Tyres and Mechanical

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Light Vehicle Mechanic to join our team as a leading hand/senior technician. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing our team of mechanics and apprentices, ensuring the highest level of quality and productivity in our workshop.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of mechanics and apprentices
  • Oversee all aspects of vehicle maintenance and repair, including general servicing, minor and major repairs, and diagnostics
  • Assist the office team with quote times, part interpretation, and customer queries
  • Perform vehicle inspections and diagnose faults
  • Develop and implement quality control processes to ensure high standards of workmanship

Requirements:

  • Qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic with extensive experience in the mechanical field
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Strong vehicle diagnostic skills and ability to work unsupervised
  • Manual unrestricted Driver's license
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

What We Offer:

  • Competitive hourly rate of $45-$55 per hour, depending on experience
  • Relocation assistance available
  • Full-time position, Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 5:00pm
