Payroll Administration Role

We are seeking a skilled Payroll Administrator to join our Finance Team. This role is responsible for managing all aspects of payroll, including data entry, calculations, and compliance.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. They will also possess experience with payroll systems and software, particularly Zambion.

This is a flexible opportunity that offers the chance to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage fortnightly payroll runs for employees across Australian offices
  • Read and interpret Enterprise Bargaining Agreements to ensure accurate allowance payments
  • Data entry into pay-rolling system
  • Update payroll records by entering changes to employee information or benefits
  • Calculate payroll liabilities, including federal and state income tax, social security tax, and employer's payments
  • Resolve payroll discrepancies and answer employee queries

Requirements:

  • Certificate IV in Payroll Administration or similar
  • At least four years of payroll experience
  • Familiarity with Zambion, our pay-rolling system (desirable)
  • Australian citizenship or permanent residency
  • Reliable vehicle for commuting to and from work

About the Position:

This role is part of our Finance Team, which supports the company's finance duties. The team is based at the Airport Industrial Precinct and consists of a Senior Company Accountant and a Finance Manager.

The position offers flexibility, allowing for either a nine-day fortnight or a minimum of three or four days per week. Hours can be adjusted to accommodate personal needs.
