Accommodation Experience Specialist

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team in a hands-on and detail-oriented role. As an Accommodation Experience Specialist, you will provide exceptional service to our guests from reservation to departure, creating lasting memories.

This full-time position primarily involves afternoon and evening shifts, typically rostered between 3pm and 11pm. On a daily basis, you will:

  • Complete reception tasks such as taking bookings, preparing invoices, checking guests in and out
  • Answer phone and email enquiries promptly and professionally
  • Communicate with other departments to ensure rooms are ready for guest arrivals or to ensure guest needs are met
  • Complete end-of-day procedures, including accurate financial reconciliation and reporting
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in customer service with sound knowledge of booking systems
  • The ability to engage with guests in a friendly and approachable manner
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Certificate II in Hospitality (Operations) or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated financial acumen, including responsibility for cash handling and reconciliation as part of daily operational duties
  • Problem solving skills including the ability to apply mathematical skills in a workplace context
  • Valid Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate
  • Possess a Do Food Safely Certificate of completion
