Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Culinary Professional to join our team as a Senior Chef.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a talented individual to take on a leadership role in our kitchen and contribute to the delivery of high-quality dining experiences to our guests.

  • To succeed in this role, you will need to have a proven track record of success in a fast-paced culinary environment, with experience in menu planning, food preparation and presentation.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to multitask are essential.
  • You will also be responsible for leading and motivating a team of chefs and kitchen staff, ensuring that they have the necessary training and resources to perform their roles effectively.
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Leading the culinary team in the preparation and presentation of meals, snacks and beverages.
  • Developing and implementing new menus and recipes to ensure that our offerings remain fresh and exciting.
  • Managing food costs, inventory and supplies, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Providing exceptional customer service, responding to guest feedback and resolving any issues promptly.
  • Working closely with other departments, such as Front Office and Housekeeping, to ensure seamless communication and cooperation.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a senior culinary position, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort setting.
  • Proven expertise in menu planning, food preparation and presentation, with a focus on using locally sourced and sustainable ingredients.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
