Dean and Professor of Pastoral Theology

The role involves teaching pastoral theology, leading the department, and mentoring students. This position requires a heart for Christ's church and its leaders.

  • Teaching homiletics and other aspects of pastoral theology.
  • Compelling writing for academic publications.
  • Strong oral communication skills for teaching, preaching, and conference speaking.
  • Effective management of faculty and administrative staff.
Key Qualifications:
  • Doctorate (earned or in process) in pastoral theology or related field.
  • Ordained or ordainable in a Christian denomination.
  • At least 10 years experience in pastoral ministry.
  • Experience in organizational leadership.
  • Deep understanding of and sympathy for Westminster's mission, history, and distinctives.

This is a full-time position that requires strong leadership and communication skills. The ideal candidate will have experience in teaching, writing, and managing teams.
