Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Hotel Attendant to join our team at one of our southern region hotels. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for providing excellent guest service, taking food and beverage orders, and ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all patrons.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional guest service across our venue, ensuring a warm and welcoming environment for all customers
  • Take customer food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently, using point-of-sale technology
  • Process gaming transactions, including accepting bets, making payouts, and resolving customer queries
  • Clean and maintain the hotel's public areas, including bars, restaurants, and gaming rooms, to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures, including setting up and resetting the bar and gaming equipment
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification, or willingness to obtain it within a reasonable timeframe
  • A current Responsible Conduct of Gambling (RCG) certification, or ability to secure it within a reasonable timeframe
  • The availability to work a range of shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and public holidays
  • An enthusiastic and customer-focused approach, with a strong commitment to teamwork and communication
  • Previous experience in a hospitality or gaming environment, although not essential, is highly regarded
