Job Opportunity: Animal Feed Production


We are seeking a reliable and punctual individual to join our team as a Plant Operator. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of our extrusion plant and associated machinery.


About the Role:


The successful candidate will be responsible for:



  • Safely operating the extrusion plant and associated machinery
  • Assisting with maintenance and troubleshooting mechanical breakdowns
  • Accurately weighing and measuring ingredients
  • Completing production records accurately
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of systems and processes
  • Performing regular cleaning of equipment and work area
  • Working efficiently and safely as part of a cohesive team

Requirements:


To be successful in this role, you will need:



  • Good physical fitness with safe manual handling skills, and the ability to repetitively lift up to 25kg
  • Mechanically minded with demonstrated experience operating machinery
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
  • A flexible attitude with good communication skills and a can-do approach
  • Commitment to producing high-quality products while adhering to safety standards
  • A current driver's licence and reliable transportation
  • A current forklift licence is preferred
