We are seeking a Production Animal Health Specialist to join our team at Charles Sturt University in New South Wales.
This is an excellent opportunity for a veterinarian with a passion for teaching and research to contribute to the development of Veterinary professionals for regional and rural Australia.
- You will be responsible for delivering high-quality student-centred learning and teaching, with opportunities for research and/or clinical activity.
- Develop strong professional partnerships, networks, and relationships both locally and internationally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach production animal medicine and veterinary clinical skills to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Attract external research funding (Level C) and engage in industry engagement relevant to ruminant health and production.
Requirements:
- A relevant qualification or equivalent experience, accreditation, and standing appropriate for the level being applied for.
- Current registration or eligibility for registration in NSW with the Veterinary Practitioners Board as a practicing veterinarian.
- Experience in delivering high-quality student-centred learning and teaching, or an aptitude for production animal practice or research, and an enthusiasm for teaching.
