Assistant Store Manager Job Description

We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic leader to join our retail team as an Assistant Store Manager.

This is a fixed-term position at 38 hours/week ending August 2026. You will lead by creating memorable customer connections, assist in training and developing your team, and manage high stock volumes.

About the Role

You will be responsible for leading by example, creating a positive and engaging store environment, and driving sales growth. You will work closely with the Store Manager to achieve operational and business objectives.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

Essential Requirements:

  • Previous experience with Visual Merchandising in-store
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Demonstrated Skills:

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Able to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently
  • Proficient in handling cash transactions and operating point of sale systems
