About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team at Recruit Shop. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in maintaining advanced knowledge of professional skills and accounting principles, including adherence to the Tax Practitioners Board (TPB) code of practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review income tax returns and ensure all statutory requirements are met for clients.
  • Coordinate taxation compliance, including year-end income tax, FBT reporting, and CGT.
  • Ensure service excellence and adherence to maintain standards.
  • Implement efficient operational systems within the team.
  • Identify growth opportunities for clients.

About You

The successful candidate will have:

  • 5+ years of experience in accounting with a tertiary qualification in a relevant field.
  • Experience with Xero and XPM is preferred.
  • Able to conduct peer review work, handle asset protection and small business tax.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage workflow effectively.
  • A great sense of humour and the ability to work well within a team.
  • A genuine passion for changing lives through financial expertise.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
