The Technology Risk Specialist will play a crucial part of the Risk Management function on a major project - Core Modernisation. Their role will be pivotal in ensuring consistent and high-quality risk management throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities- Identify risks and ensure they are effectively addressed, monitored, and transitioned into ongoing operational assurance.
- Coach and guide the CoreMod program in its risk management practices to align with business operations and risk frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective risk management strategies to mitigate potential risks.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and assess risks to achieve business objectives.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years + experience in a risk and compliance role, preferably within banking or financial services.
- Demonstrated experience in technology risk roles.
- Understanding of bank-wide risk and compliance management frameworks and policies.
- Proven ability to manage and influence senior stakeholders effectively.
- Ability to negotiate effectively and resolve complex issues.
