Job Title

Research Development Officer positions are available within the Group Research Development Team.

The roles involve providing advice and support to researchers on grant applications, identifying funding opportunities, and developing initiatives to enhance research capabilities.

Applicants should have postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience in higher education, research, industry, or government.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing strategic advice to researchers on grant applications and funding opportunities.
  • Identifying sources of international and national funding opportunities and coordinating their distribution.
  • Developing and implementing initiatives to enhance research capabilities and collaboration between researchers.
  • Providing training and development programs for researchers to improve their proposal preparation, industry engagement, and project management skills.

Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of the higher education research sector and its funding mechanisms.

They will also possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

The roles are fixed term (two years) full-time positions based at Griffith University campuses.
