Water Damage Restoration Specialist

A leading provider of restoration services is seeking an experienced Water Damage Restoration Specialist to join their team.

About the Role

  • Respond to properties affected by water damage, fire damage, sewer incursion, and mould.
  • Install and monitor specialised restoration equipment for all aspects of mitigation and works.
  • Communicate and coordinate with all parties involved, including employees, property owners, property managers, and customers.
  • Full job-specific WHS paperwork and comprehensive on-site reporting.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Inspecting and evaluating property damage.
  • Making use of tools and machinery designed specifically for water damage restoration and mould remediation works.
  • Cleanup and restoration services after water, fire, smoke, and mould damage.
  • Conducting contents inventory.
  • Demolition and structural stripping, including removal of flooring and plasterboard walls/ceiling, etc.
  • Observing WHS guidelines.
  • Communicating with all stakeholders when required and upholding company values and commitments.

Requirements:

  • Must be in possession of a current and valid driver's licence (or willing to obtain one).
  • IICRC certification.
  • Ability and willingness to travel.
