Damage Assessment Specialist

The role of a Damage Assessment Specialist is to investigate and assess buildings affected by damage events, providing expert advice on decontamination, restoration, and remediation. This includes conducting Indoor Air Quality Assessments and related consulting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Investigate and assess buildings affected by damage events
  • Provide expert advice on decontamination, restoration, and remediation
  • Conduct Indoor Air Quality Assessments and related consulting
Requirements:
  • Industry experience in damage assessment, restoration, or insurance building
  • Report writing and verbal communication skills
  • Confidence managing site inspections and engaging with clients
  • Construction White Card, Police Check, Working With Children Check (or willing to obtain)
  • Valid Australian driver's licence
Bonus Points:
  • HVAC hygiene or IAQ expertise
  • Science education
  • Professional certifications like ACAC - CSMI, CMI, CMC
