You will be working closely with the Manager, Aboriginal Workforce Development, supporting the growth and retention of our workforce. The role also involves liaising with various teams, including Workplace Relations, Recruitment and Onboarding, Organisational Development and Aboriginal Health.

A key aspect of this role is providing assistance and support to the broader workforce on all Aboriginal workforce matters. This includes helping to plan, implement, deliver, and evaluate Aboriginal Health Workforce initiatives within our organisation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in on-the-job studying towards a Certificate III in Business (HR electives) or Certificate IV in Human Resources.
  • Assist with routine administration tasks, such as processing HR-related documentation and managing the HR inbox.
  • Liaise with the People and Culture team to provide support to Aboriginal workforce matters.
  • Comply with NSW Health and Justice Health policies and procedures.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR team, including preparing reports and assisting with the implementation of HR policies and procedures.
