Radiation Therapy Specialist

We are currently seeking a dedicated Radiation Therapist to enhance our team at a leading cancer treatment facility. This role is pivotal in delivering exceptional radiation therapy services as directed by a Radiation Oncologist. The successful candidate will report directly to the Clinical Lead Radiation Therapist and will work in a full-time capacity, following a 9-day fortnight schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer high-quality radiation therapy planning and treatment services to patients.
- Uphold the highest standards of patient care while continually improving service quality and patient experience.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure timely and effective patient care.
- Treat all patients and their caregivers with respect and dignity, maintaining equality at all times.
Candidate Profile:

Qualifications and Skills:
- Commitment to providing high-quality radiation therapy services.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to represent the organization positively.
- Proven technical proficiency in radiation therapy treatment planning and delivery is preferred.
- Ability to adhere to established clinical protocols and procedures.
- Valid General Registration with AHPRA as a Radiation Therapist.
- Current Queensland Radiation License for radiation source usage.
- Professional indemnity insurance as required by AHPRA.
