Job Overview
- We are seeking a talented and experienced Middle Leader to join our school community.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the Humanities and Social Sciences (HASS) learning area, ensuring the delivery of a high-quality curriculum that supports student achievement and growth. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing instructional leadership to a small dedicated Languages team.
- Mentoring and supporting teachers through collaborative planning, professional learning, and performance development processes.
- Collaborating with staff to foster intercultural understanding and promote language learning across the school.
- Playing a central role in curriculum design, assessment moderation, and resource management within the learning areas.
- Contributing to whole-school initiatives and strategic planning while upholding the Anglican ethos and values.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A proven track record of middle leadership experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to teach History is desirable but not essential.
