Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Practice Manager to lead our team of healthcare professionals at our medical centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations, including reception workflow, appointment scheduling, billing procedures, debt collections, maintenance and security, patient file management, engagement with third-party vendors, and support for the management team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and support the reception team in managing patient appointments, greeting clients, taking re-bookings and payments.
  • Schedule appointments and ensure smooth workflow.
  • Oversee billing procedures and debt collections.
  • Ensure maintenance and security of the premises.
  • Manage patient files and notes securely and confidentially.
  • Engage with third-party vendors and suppliers.
  • Provide support to the management team with reporting and ad-hoc tasks.
  • Create and maintain a harmonious, cheerful and engaging practice environment.
  • Ensure all staff, patients and visitors adhere to Covid-19 health regulations.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Prior experience in medical practice management.
  • Demonstrated people management skills.
  • Experience in recruitment, staff training and development.
  • Thorough understanding of financial management of a medical business.
  • Experience with Best Practice software (advantageous).
  • Experience in Practice Accreditation.
  • Occupational health experience.
