Quality Assurance Manager

About the Role
We are seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to join our team at Laing O'Rourke, a leading construction company. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of our Eastern Freeway Burke to Tram Road project.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement quality management systems to ensure compliance with contract requirements, industry standards, and company procedures.
- Review and revise quality specifications to ensure all QA/QC project deliverables are captured and processes are in place to achieve them.
- Collaborate with engineers to prepare inspection and test plans, and inspection and test records to ensure all inspection and testing requirements are identified.
- Monitor and report on construction conformance, product, and documentation.
- Engage in the procurement process, including package grading, scope of works reviews, and review of tender information from a quality perspective.
- Deliver quality-related training to subcontractors, suppliers, and the delivery team.
About You
- Experience in a similar quality assurance role.
- Sound knowledge of Australian Standards (e.g., AS/NZS 9001:2008), industry codes, and procedures.
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
- Exposure to both road and infrastructure projects will be highly regarded.
