Appliance Repair Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Appliance Repair Specialist to join our team. As an experienced technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing various household appliances.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical and mechanical fault finding, as well as excellent communication skills. You will work independently, visiting customers' homes to repair appliances, and provide exceptional customer service at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair domestic appliances, including dishwashers, washing machines, dryers, cooktops, range hoods, ovens, fridges, and microwaves.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of appliances to identify issues and recommend repairs or replacements.
  • Provide premium customer service, ensuring complete satisfaction with every interaction.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest appliance technologies and techniques through ongoing training and professional development.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year experience in appliance repair or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Current and valid full Australian driver's license and vehicle.
  • Sound technical knowledge of electrical and mechanical fault finding.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Restricted Gas License (desirable).
  • Restricted Electrical License or Electrical License (desirable).
  • Refrigeration Arc License (desirable).

Job Type: Full-time, Part-time, Subcontract, Casual.

Pay: $45.00 - $100.00 per hour.

Expected Hours: 20 - 40 per week.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, Weekend availability.

Supplementary Pay: Commission.

Experience: Appliance repair: 1 year (preferred).

Work Authorisation: Australia (required).

Work Location: On the road.
